Coucou!
My name is Bakel and I am the founder of Rapide Immigration. I have a degree in Social and Legal Sciences from PUC-Rio, a Master's degree in Management from the European University of Valencia, and a postgraduate degree from the European Institute of Tax Advisory. I work as an immigration law, nationality and mobility specialist, representing clients in the public sector.
I am fluent in Spanish, French, Portuguese and English and I currently reside in France, where I oversee RI's offices in the countries in which we operate.
The first country I migrated to with the aim of fulfilling some of my dreams was Spain. Spain surprises you with its high quality of life, excellent education system and access to healthcare — aspects that I consider fundamental for anyone seeking to build a new life outside their country of origin.
My move to Spain was the result of a very long-planned project. It was a country I had visited many times before and I was comfortable with the language. Despite my level of knowledge, I faced several challenges, such as having my qualifications recognised, obtaining official language proficiency certificates and submitting extensive documentation that would allow me to work professionally in Spain. Depending on what you intend to study, you will also need to prove your fluency in other languages.
At that time, it was difficult to find qualified professionals to guide me through each step. This made the journey much longer, more expensive and more challenging, and required even greater resilience and dedication to overcome each stage of the migration process.
The second country in which I took up residence was France. It was here that I rediscovered and deepened my love for my profession. Despite its challenges, the French environment gave me a new professional and personal perspective.
Compared to the adaptation process I experienced in Spain, the challenges I faced in France were significantly more complex. Even fluent French speakers encounter obstacles that often seem impossible to overcome. This is because France has very peculiar rules and bureaucratic procedures that are difficult to understand and which often involve numerous exceptions applied on a case-by-case basis.
In addition to these administrative difficulties, France's institutional communication system is often outdated or unclear, making the integration process even more demanding. For this reason, I strongly advise against venturing into France without careful planning and at least an intermediate knowledge of the language.
As a Rapide Immigration representative, I am committed to providing accurate guidance and ensuring the efficient and transparent monitoring of all administrative procedures related to the immigration process.
Based on my experience, I know that inadequate information can lead to poor decision-making, incomplete documentation, missed deadlines and financial losses, thus jeopardising the realisation of a dream.
The world belongs to everyone, and just as there are many reasons to emigrate, there are also many different ways to reach your desired destination.
